Sacraments of Healing

Reconciliation • Anointing of the Sick
These bring God’s mercy, comfort, and peace.

Reconciliation (Confession)

Reconciliation is one of the most tender expressions of God’s mercy.  When we come before the Lord with honesty and humility, He responds with forgiveness, healing, and peace.

Through the ministry of the priest, Christ lifts the burdens we carry and restores us to grace.

This sacrament is not about shame -- it is about freedom.  It is the joy of beginning again, of letting God’s light enter the places we’ve kept hidden.  No matter how long it has been, the Lord welcomes you with open arms.

Reconciliation is a gentle reminder that God’s mercy is always greater than our mistakes.

Anointing of the Sick

The Anointing of the Sick is a sacrament of comfort, strength, and healing.  Inspired by Christ’s own ministry of compassion, it brings God’s grace to those who are ill, preparing for surgery, or nearing the end of life.

Through prayer and anointing with holy oil, the Church surrounds the sick with love and support.  This sacrament offers peace of heart, forgiveness of sins, and the strength to face suffering with hope.

It is not only for the dying -- it is for anyone who needs the healing presence of Christ.  In moments of weakness, the Lord draws especially close, reminding us that we are never alone.
